<div>The fieldtrip with Anne on Friday morning was a blast. We met up with some birders from the Salt Lake area and Anne brought a Rio Tinto 12 passenger van. We headed up a dirt road up "coon canyon" by magna. The road took us through sagebrush feilds, scrub oak forests and after a few hours we made it all the way to the top of Farnsworth Peak a little over 9000 ft (the peak with all the radio towers above Magna). We saw 3 diferent red-tailed hawk nests with juvies in them. Besides those, my 2 favorite birds were the Say's Phoebe and the Cordilleran Flycatcher. I think the entire group saw both of them. It was a fun trip. Thanks to Lou for putting this together. Thanks all you that drove, and thanks a million to Anne for taking us up.</div>
