Hey everyone,
First off, I'm pretty sure I saw what might have been a Forster's Tern out
by the airport tonight. It had a really, really orange beak with a black tip
and a black head. I thought it was a Franklin's gull at first because I've
seen a few out there, but the black on the head was on top only and not
covering the whole thing like on the Franklins. I checked the UT list and
the only tern that is common in the summer is the Forster's. Just wanted to
check with the experts.
Second. I took this shot of 3 birds which happen to be in the "small grayish
brown female bird of some kind" category. I have an Idea of what they are,
but wanted to get some feedback first. Just think of it as a pop quiz.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it on this weeks trip. Hope to see you all
Saturday.
Oliver H.
