Bonnie Williams and I went to Diamond Fork this afternoon to see the Black
Phoebes. In between rain showers, we saw 33 species.

Turkey Vulture
Mourning Dove
Broad-tailed Hummingbird
Lewis's Woodpecker (2)
Northern Flicker
Olive-sided Flycatcher (I've been arguing with myself over this one because
I didn't think the
habitat was right. Bonnie and I both thought it was an Olive-sided
because the
streaking on the sides were more pronounced and dark than a Western
Wood-Pewee.
Unfortunately, it never did vocalize. I came home and looked at more
photos and read
more descriptions of the two species. I still am really bothered by
the location even though
everything else leads me to believe it was an Olive-sided. Any
thoughts on this?)
Black Phoebe (1)
Western Kingbird
Eastern Kingbird
Tree Swallow
Violet-green Swallow
Cliff Swallow
Barn Swallow
House Wren
Mountain Bluebird
American Robin
Gray Catbird
European Starling
Cedar Waxwing
Yellow Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Yellow-breasted Chat
Chipping Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Black-headed Grosbeak
Lazuli Bunting
Red-winged Blackbird
Western Meadowlark
Yellow-headed Blackbird
Brown-headed Cowbird
Bullock's Oriole
House Finch
Lesser Goldfinch
