To the British visitors--if no one else has made suggestions for finding the condor.  Take highway 89 A south from Fredonia, Arizona south and east past Jacob Lake some miles to a BLM road that with go north  to a parking area on right side of road with a shelter and picnic table.  From thes site one can see the release cages up on the face of the cliff.  My daughter and I saw seven condors the last week in December.  There was a sign that said an occasional conder might be seen so we were very pleased.  We continuted north and came out on 89 and headed back to Kanab.   The only problem we had was a giant boulder that had rolled into the road but we had room enough to drive along it.  Happy birding.
