January 12 (Sat): Jordan River Parkway, Utah County - 9:00 to noon - led by Eric Huish - We will look for 8 species of bird (see new 2008 UCB challenge). Meet at 9:00 A.M. at the American Fork Main Street Park & Ride (West off I-15 exit 278).January 25 - 27 (Fri - Sun): St. George Winter Bird Festival - make your own arrangements and accommodations - see http://www.sgcity.org/birdfestival/.  February 9 (Sat): Bald Eagles at Farmington Bay: details TBAMarch: April 25-26: Ouray NWR and Uintah Basin; details TBAMay 15-19: Great Salt Lake Bird Festival - make your own arrangementsJune 7: Pineview Reservoir,  Snowbasin, and Powder MountainJune 23-29: National ABA meeting, Snowbird, UT - make your own arrangementsJuly 12: Diamond Fork Canyon - led by Merrill WebbAugust:September:October:November:December: Provo CBC, details TBA 
We are actively recruiting people to lead local half-day field trips, any time, any place. Lead two trips and you fill a category for the 2008 Utah County Birding Challenge.
