I ran out birding yesterday and today around Provo/Orem. Yesterday I stopped by the Provo Cemetery in hopes of looking at Red Crossbills, but to no avail, but there was plent of Creepers and Red-breasted Nuthatches, I then ran across the street to Bi-centenial park. I think that is what it is called. It had a lot of activity, was suprised to see an American Pipit there and Black-crowned Night Heron, also a Hermit Thrush and several other birds.
Today I ran down to Cleggs Pond and Sleepy Ridge Golf course in Orem. Mixed in with all the Canada Geese was one Snow Goose out on the golf course. On the golf course pond were several Canvasbacks and there was a Tundra Swan out on Cleggs Pond. Very cool.
