[ucbnet] Mona Reservoir

Birding today - Thursday.  Mona reservoir had a lot of waterfowl on it today.  Seen were: ruddy ducks, cinnamon teal, mallards, northern pintails, gadwalls, common goldeneyes, American wigeons, numerous redheads, and canvasbacks, ring-necked ducks, buffleheads, scaups, green-winged teal, and Canada geese. Along with those were: coots, pied-billed grebes, ring-billed gulls, California gulls, and several pipits.  In the fields were: 1 rough-legged hawk, starlings, 13 Eurasian-collared doves, 7 red-tailed hawks, magpies, 4 northern harriers, red-winged blackbirds, a kestrel, several ravens, juncos, 6 bald eagles, several horned larks, and two meadowlarks.
