[ucbnet] Swans

[Ned Bixler]

Skipper Bay trail Tuesday.  Several large areas of water, are in the fields, east of the trail.  Waterfowl seen were: common goldeneyes, northern pintails, northern shovelers, mallards, American wigeons, and green-winged teal. Also in the water were numerous tundra swans, and American avocets.  Hundreds of Canada geese are in the fields along the trail.
