JUNE MEETING:

Wed, June 13th.

With the long summer daylight hours we are replacing some of our meetings 
with Evening Field trips. This month Merrill Webb will lead an evening field 
trip to the West side of Mona Reservoir and Goshen Canyon. Bring insect 
repellent. We had a similar trip last year and had a great time. Please join 
us. All are welcome.

Meet at 6:00 PM at the Payson Park & Ride off I-15. Take the Northern Payson 
exit, turn west at the bottom of the off-ramp then turn south to the park & 
ride lot.


JULY MEETING:

Wed, July 11th.

An Evening field trip up Payson Canyon.  Please join us.  All are welcome.

Meet at 6:00 PM at the Payson Park & Ride off I-15. Take the Northern Payson 
exit, turn west at the bottom of the off-ramp then turn south to the park & 
ride lot.

FIELD TRIPS:

June
Oquirrh Mountains with Ann Neville - Cancelled; to be scheduled later this 
year if possible.

Wed, June 13th

Fri-Sat, June 29th & 30th (rescheduled from 6/22 & 6/23)
Grouse Creek mountains, NW Utah - No activities scheduled on Friday 6/29; 
make own arrangements in Brigham City if you prefer to stay overnight rather 
than drive up early Saturday morning.  Saturday 7:00 a.m. - leave Brigham 
City Crystal Inn parking lot. Bring water and a lunch as this should be a 
full day field trip.

Fri-Sat, July 13th & 14th
Escalante and Bryce Canyon National Park - No activities scheduled on Friday 
7/13; a small block of rooms has been reserved for UCB at the Prospector Inn 
in Escalante (phone: 435.826.4653; $61.74 double occupancy including tax; 
mention you're with the UCB group) or make your own arrangements.  Saturday 
7:00 a.m. leave the Grand Staircase N.M. headquarters parking lot at the 
west end of town. Bird in and around Escalante during the morning, then make 
our way toward the national park by late morning and spend the afternoon in 
the park. Bring water and a lunch.
