Benjamin Slough, now has open water, and many ducks. Pintail, and redheads were in very large numbers. Other ducks were: shovelers,
wigeons, green-winged teal, mallards, and coots. A prairie falcon was also sitting on one of the electric poles.
I walked Skipper Bay trail back to the Despan Cattle Ranch ( about 1/2 way down the trail), and found two CACKLING GEESE, along
with many Canada geese. Also in the fields were: mallards, shovelers, pintails, and green-winged teal. On the Provo River trail, there were
coots, wigeons, canvasbacks, green-winged teal, and pintails. In one of the fields along North Harbor Road there was a large number
of cinnamon teal.

Time for spring migration
