Hi all,

Today Justin Zsiros, Steph Alvarenga and I went up
Spanish Fork Canyon. At the Spanish Fork River Park
there was a single male Mountain Bluebird on the wire
near the 2nd entrance to the park. It flew across the
river and landed in the trees on the far side.

Also present were 2 Golden Eagles over the ridge
across the highway. One disappeared behind the ridge
carrying a large stick. I'm not sure if this was part
of courtship or if the bird is actively constructing a
nest already. Any comments?

Cheers,
