[ucbnet] Jordan River Parkway - Utah County

I decided to bird the Jordan River Parkway for a little while today.  I 
tried to go to Inlet Park (where Utah Lake empties into the Jordan River) 
but was blocked by a Road Closed sign.  So I tried to access the Parkway 
through Willow Park (west of Lehi) and was again blocked by a Road Closed 
sign ‘Bridge Out’.  So I went clear out and around to Redwood Road then 
through Saratoga Springs and passed the road closed barricades from the back 
side to Inlet Park.  I walked down to the warm springs at the end of the 
parkway and was rewarded with a brief flyover small flock of blackbirds, a 
distant Common Merganser and one Great Horned Owl in a cottonwood off to the 
east of the trail before I got to the warm springs.  3 species. Very quiet.  
It was windy out and I got an earache.  I’m ready for spring.
