Hi all,
Sorry for the late post. I saw a Hermit Thrush on
Sunday (Feb 4th) afternoon on BYU campus in the brushy
area along the trail between Helaman Halls and the top
of the Tanner Building. It was with a group of Robins,
House Finches, Towhees etc. The bird was actively
feeding on the ground and calling loudly when it would
flush up to perch momentarily. Hopefully it sticks
around in that area.

Also, this morning there were several Chukars calling
loudly in Rock Canyon on the north side of the Canyon
not far from the parkette. There were several more a
little further up on the north talus slope. Also in
Rock Canyon this morning: Canyon Wren, 2 Golden
Eagles, several Stellers Jays, you know, the typical
stuff.

Cheers,
Matt Mills
Provo.
