[ucbnet] Sage Sparrows

    I went around the Provo Airport Dike this afternoon. Much to my surprise there were two Sage Sparrows. They were north of the southwest corner of the dike. They were running along between the large rabbit brush on both sides of the dirt road. Lots of sparrows in this area. Also quite a large number of Orange-crowned Warblers. Never seen the Sage Sparrows in the fall on the dike, not that I can remember, it was a wonderful surprise. Also there was a beautiful Sage Thrasher on the dike.
