[ucbnet] Northern Saw-whet Owl

Yesterday May 25, 10:05 A. M.   .2 miles past the "pass" toward Cascade Springs I saw a fledging Northern Saw-whet Owl.  It was so unconcerned I tossed a light towel over it.  I was able to examine it without touching it.  I then released where it to the spot where I found it.  
   
  To get there go up Provo Canyon to Charleston . Continue north,   cross the RR tracks and immediately turn left then follow the signs to Cascade Springs.  Take note as you go over the "pass" , I estimate about 5 miles then go .2 miles.  My computer has been on the fritz.  Sorry for the delay.
