[ucbnet] Merlin and 5 Lewis's Woodpeckers

Greetings,

I was in Salem today (Friday) visiting my sister and thought I'd look
around to see what birds were there -- got some good ones.

There was a Merlin in the big poplar trees on the west side of the main
part of Salem Pond (near the west bridge).  Also, I found 5 Lewis's
Woodpeckers in the the usual place east of Salem -- always fun to see
that niffty-looking bird.
