Birded my yard this evening and had (still) single flyover RED CROSSBILL and
EVENING GROSBEAKS, plus a high and distant soaring PEREGRINE FALCON (new to
the yard list!) and finally, a GREAT BLUE HERON for the yard list. EURASIAN
COLLARED-DOVE is still in the neighborhood. An uncooperative
*Empidonax*spp. and a singing BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK were also present.
Checklist below.
Good birding, Craig.
