This evening my wife and I saw White-throated Swifts in Logan Canyon, a little east of Wood Camp. The birds are nesting in a crack in the rocks on the side of the cliff (south side of canyon). We were standing at North 41⁰ 48.811' West 111⁰ 37.298 as we observed the birds. The best way I found to watch the swifts was to point the spotting scope into an area of the sky that swifts frequently crossed and to wait for them to enter the field of view. The canyon is beautiful (lots of wildflowers are blooming) and Logan River is running very high.
