Birders,

Yesterday at my house (1425w 600s, Logan) yellow-rumped warbler, western
kingbirds, red-winged blackbirds, starlings, and something small and
warbler-like which even R. Jockel couldn't distinguish.

Reinhard and I then went out to the mitigation ponds west of the
landfill. Here were kestrel, coot, yellow-headed blackbird, redhead,
canada goose, white-faced ibis, stilt, avocet, gull sp., ruddy duck,
scaup sp, phalarope sp, killdeer, robin, pelican and western meadowlark.

a few days ago I thought there was a western tanager and downy
woodpecker out front.

happy birding,

Dan Zamecnik
