Birded Rendezvous Park (adjacent to the Logan River Golf Course) in Logan
this evening. Highlights-YELLOW WARBLER (two singing males, one female),
an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, two YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, a female WOOD DUCK
with 8 little puffballs, and a flock of 80+ VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS foraging
overhead.
I also had a flock of 30 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS plus a few WHITE-THROATED
SWIFTS foraging over my apartment this evening; they were there at ~545,
and the VIOLET-GREENS were still there when I got back from Rendezvous Park.
Finally, I had a very shy hummingbird make two attempts to visit my feeder,
but the bird did not stay, and I was not able to get an id.
Checklist below. Good birding, Craig.
