On Friday I encountered a very friendly flock of about 15 Red Crossbills on campus across the street from Edith Bowen school . . . I was able to get within 5 feet of the ground foraging birds. Also a Yellow-headed Blackbird (or two) at 1000 west (in the wetland near 200 south) on Wednesday evening. happy birding, Dan Zamecnik
