I went over to Sue's Ponds and the Playa around lunch to see if I could find the reported Stilt Sandpiper and possible Thayer's Gull. Unfortunately, I missed them both. There were many California Gulls and Dowitchers, but also a handful of Pectoral Sandpipers, Yellowlegs, and Bonaparte's Gulls... mostly on the Playa. Regards, Jason Pietrzak
