[TopOfUtah] Cassin's Finches have arrived

The first Cassin's Finch has arrived at our feeder. She was hanging
out with a group of House Finches that included one with eye disease
and another with a strange look to him. It almost appeared as though
he had a kernel of corn stuck to the side of his face. It was further
back than his eyes, so it wasn't that disease, but watching with my
binos it almost looked like a thistle stuck to him. I thought I saw
the same thing yesterday, so that makes it seem less likely to be
something stuck to him rather than growing on him... Anybody have any
thoughts as to what it is?
