Following the BAS field trip this morning, Ryan O' Donnell, Jason Pietrzak,
and I birded both Logan Mitigation Ponds (Sue's Ponds) and Hyrum State
Park. The LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL first found 17 days ago at the Logan
Mitigation Ponds thankfully made another appearance, no doubt so I could
finally see it. Soon after we found the LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, an adult
BALD EAGLE kicked up all the gulls and put an end to our gull-watching.
Next stop was Hyrum State Park, which was a snoozer. Aside from five
goldeneyes, no ducks or loons were present, so we called it a day.
Checklists below...

Good birding, Craig.
