Thanks to Craig Fosdick’s email this morning on his hike to Green Canyon, I went birding there this evening. I saw the previously reported Orange-crowned Warbler, Virginia Warbler, Black-throated Gray Warbler, Warbling Vireo, and Plumbeous Vireo. I missed the Ruffed Grouse, but did hear Chukars. I also saw some Chipping Sparrows and a Cooper’s Hawk. There were lots of Black-capped Chickadees, but somehow I missed the normally ubiquitous Dark-eyed Juncos.
Thanks
Buck Russell
