[TopOfUtah] Sandhills have arrived

Quick note, then off to slumber land.

yesterday evening, I thought I caught a glimpse of a Sandhill Crane in the
marsh across the street from my house.  Couldnt be sure as the light was dim
and I was in a hurry.   Today, when I got home, the first thing I noticed as
I got out of the car was that woody call of Sandhill cranes from the marsh
across the street.  I glassed the area, but couldn't seen it.  I drove over
there and glassed the fields and marsh, but couldn't see it, but I could
definitely hear one, possibley two Sandhils Cranes.  I wondeer how long
they've been here?  Has anyone else seen sandhills in Cache Valley this
year?

Now, I'm eagerly awaiting the return of Western Kingbirds.  Their morning
wake up call is one of the great pleasures of summer for me!!!
