I hurried over to the Logan Mitigation Ponds, aka Sue's Ponds, this evening
to try and find Buck's Semipalmated Plover, and I did find it, plus two
more! Other shorebirds at this pond (it is the third pond down from the
access road into the Mitigation Ponds) included two Least Sandpipers,
several Killdeer, and two Spotted Sandpipers. Buck, thanks for the post,
year birds are getting harder and harder to come by. That is #206 for me,
and it's a bird I was worried I would miss!

At the first pond south of the access road were:

Marbled Godwit-1
Long-billed Dowitcher-1
Western Sandpiper-15
Killdeer-3
Spotted Sandpiper-1
Wilson's Phalarope-4
Black-necked Stilt-4
American Avocet-3
Ring-billed Gull-1
Franklin's Gull-1
White-faced Ibis-1
Ruddy Duck-1

The "Shorebird Playa" (still in the Mitigation Ponds/Sue's Ponds) has water
in it....and a lot of gulls, mostly Franklin's Gulls, plus some California
Gulls, and >10 Killdeer.

Good birding, Craig.
