Thanks to Craig Fosdick, my wife and I were able to see the Marbled Godwits just east of the main Cutler Marsh Bridge. There were about 8 godwits in the mud flat areas. We met Craig at the mitigation ponds (Sue’s Ponds) yesterday evening and the godwits were exactly where he reported them. We also relocated the Great-tailed Grackle that had previously been reported by Ron Ryle. It was sitting on the duck box west of the Hunter Education building on Valley View Highway. The Cliff Swallows are back in mass at the two Cutler Marsh bridges and the Rough-winged Swallow numbers have increased south of the Logan Landfill.
Thanks.
Buck Russell
