[TopOfUtah] re: injured Sandhill Crane

I did speak with DNR and they gave me a dog carrier into which I was to put
the crane and I spoke with bird handlers from Ogden who gave me some
pointers on capturing the bird (safety first). I'm not sure that it's likely
that DNR or USFWS are going to take care of this situation, so we shall see
what happens with that.

Though I've never heard of a person being killed by a Sandhill Crane, you
are certainly correct that they are capable of inflicting serious injury.
I'm genuinely curious, are there actually any reports of Sandhills killing
people?
