This evening my wife and I birded around Hyrum Reservoir. In addition to the birds reported earlier in the week at reservoir we saw a pair of Caspian Terns. We watched them from the boat launch area in the state park. Other birds at the reservoir included Bald Eagle (mature plumage), Golden Eagle, Osprey (carrying dinner), lots of Common Loons, Common Merganser, Red-breasted Merganser, Double-crested Cormorant, Ring-necked Duck, Northern Pintail, Canada Geese, Ring-billed Gull, California Gull, and there may have also been a few of the ever elusive American Coots.
Thanks.
Buck Russell
