I observed a female American Redstart this morning along the
Coal Creek trail about 100 yards below the bridge at 200
East and 275 North.  The warbler was flitting among the
rocks along the east side of the stream, then flew across
the creek into a yard and was not seen again.

This afternoon VJ and I took a quick drive out to Newcastle
Reservoir just before the rain hit.  Interesting sightings
included a Common Loon in winter plumage, a dozen Clark's
Grebes, and a Black Tern.
