We are here in Kane co. N of Glendale.
We have had a one rose breasted grosbeak here at the feeder for 5 days. My Kane co. birdlist has a blank next to its name so it's my guess that this bird is a bit special.? We are new to Utah birding ( moved here from Ohio in April) so we have yet to get a feel for what might be outstanding when it comes to sightings. Regardles,s we think the 57 species we've seen here in our canyon are pretty great.
Here are a few we have seen:
Lazuli's bunting
Indigo bunting
Black headed grosbeak
Rose breasted grosbeak
Evening grosbeak
Cassin's finch
Black chinned hummer
Broad tailed hummer
Western Tanager
Yellow warbler
Say's phoebe
Black phoebe
Belted kingfisher
Red naped sapsucker
Cassin's vireo
Pos. orange crowned warbler?
Good birding (for sure!)
