Hello,

I apologize for the late reports, as I've been out of town this week.  Last
Saturday (1/31) from 9:00 to 3:00, a large group of us enjoyed a beautiful
day on a St. George Winter Bird Festival Field Trip to several Hurricane
locations. Thanks to everyone on the trip; it was great seeing many of you
again and meeting several new friends.  We primarilly concentrated on water
birds with a little time dedicated to looking at raptors. We did
exceptionally well with waterfowl (20 species) and had so many highlights
and outstanding birds that I'll just include a complete list below.  Sites
visited included Quail Creek State Park (A), Stratton (Grandpa's) Pond (B),
SR-9 (Hurricane) Sewage Ponds (C), Sand Hollow State Park (D), and the
Hurricane Fields (E).
