Hello,
This afternoon (5/21) around 5:30p, I saw a female Painted Bunting along the
Y-drain in the Washington Fields, Washington Co. It was feeding in the
Descurania and grasses along the Y-drain and was last observed flying into
the tamarisks along the Virgin River. It was loosely associating with
several Blue Grosbeaks.
I haven't been around enough recently to know if anything else is hanging
around, but hope to catch up on the local happenings in the next few days,
Regards,
Rick Fridell
