[redcliffs] Wigeon

We had a visitor come to our front door this morning.   An American Wigeon.  Right here in Bloomington Ranches.  My husband saw it fall .... as though something had thrown it to the ground.  I got some great pictures.  It stayed on the cement walk for about 15 minutes and then moved a couple feet to the lawn and stayed there until Kevin Wheeler drove up in his yellow vehicle  and then it flew off.   Stayed about 30 minutes.

And that's not all.....

We had Mountain Bluebirds in our back pasture yesterday!!!

And.... of course we have a flock of Red-winged Blackbirds (last 4 weeks) who sing for their breakfast every morning.  How can I be so lucky???
