Hello Everyone,
The Neotropic Cormorant is still present at Ivin's Reservoir (08/05). Also
of possible interest around Washington County, there is a juvenile Common
Moorhen on the Spring's Estate Pond (usually the east edge). Also,
shorebird migration is really starting to pick up. Quinn I and saw a nice
variety while walking along the south shore of the lake at Sand Hollow State
Park, including,
Snowy Plover (6),
Semipalmated Plover (8),
Willet,
Spotted Sandpiper (4),
Marbled Godwit (8),
Sanderling,
Western Sandpiper (3),
Least Sandpiper (2),
Baird's Sandpiper,
Short-billed Dowitcher,
Regards,
