Hello again,
It's a rare rainy day here in Washington Co., and this morning I could tell
by the way Quinn was rubbing oatmeal in his hair that he wanted to go back
to Quail Creek to check on the Sabine's Gulls. Being the obliging dad I am,
I loaded that little baby and we were off right after breakfast.
Sure enough the gulls are still present; they are usually flying around
together in the main part of the lake. We also stopped by Sand Hollow State
Park and saw about 25 Caspian Terns, many many Avocets, three Marbled
Godwits, a Baird's Sandpiper, and most surprising two Snowy Plovers.
Best Regards,
