I'm sorry, the caption and email below should have read "NO Cape May Warbler
09/17/07".

Larry and Peyton found the bird on 9/16!

With apologies,

Hello,

This afternoon (9/17) Steve Summers and I birded for a while at the Red
Hills Golf Course in St. George. It appears that the Cape May Warbler found
yesterday by Larry Tripp and Peyton Cook has moved on. We did see some neat
birds around St. George including a female Calliope Hummingbird and a
probable Least Flycatcher (I took some photos that I'd be happy to send to
any ambitious Empidonax identifiers out there).

Also interesting today there was a large passage of Turkey Vultures over St.
George heading south. Throughout the day there were kettles of up to
several hundred vultures spinning around for a while and then heading a few
hundred meters south and then spinning on the thermals again. It looked
like a fun way to migrate.

Regards,
