[redcliffs] Returning Waterfowl at Stratton Pond

Hello,
This afternoon we walked down to Stratton Pond (Grandpa's Fishing Pond) in
Hurricane, and were surprised to see several waterfowl species making their
first appearance for the winter, including; at least 10 Greater Scaup, a
couple male Hooded Mergansers, and a pair of Canvasback.  Also present were
Western Grebes, Pied-billed Grebes, American Wigeon, Cinnamon Teal, Lesser
Scaup, Ring-necked Ducks, and Ruddy Ducks.

Still watching for the first returning Goldeneyes and Buffleheads.
