KC and others,
There are 8-10 California Condors currently hanging out in the Lava Point /
Kolob Meadows / Kolob Reservoir area.
Best of luck on your trip. All the regulars are still around and many are
rather easy to find this time of year, however usually no one is looking, as
birding in St. George in July isn't for the faint of heart. My advice is to
get up early, as there is usually a small window from five to seven a.m.
when you can count on temperatures being below 85 F.
Regards,

I am going to Saint George this Monday and Tuesday to look for birds. I
was wondering if the Condors are still up near Kolob Resivoir? Anyone know.
Plus any birds that a birder from the east would be interested to view while
in those two days. I think we will go to Lytle early Monday morning. But I
have never birded Saint George in the middle of the summer, so dont the best
place to go for the bang for the buck for southwestern utah specialties. Any
help would be great. Thanks
KC Childs
