  The Vermilion Flycatcher is still in my back yard.... 3 weeks now.  I hope it stays till the Winter Bird Festival...

  We also have Pipits, Meadow Larks, Grackles, Crows, Black Phoebe, Black-headed Grosebeak, Downy Woodpecker, Red-shafted Woodpecker, Lesser Goldfinches, House Finches, White-crowned Sparrows, Eurasion Collared Doves, Mourning Doves, Mockingbirds, Red-winged Blackbirds, and on and on.  This is why I get up early each morning.  This is why life if so great.  I am thankful for large trees and a pasture for horses.  I live in Bloomington Ranches, but sometimes I think it is paradise.
