[reccom] Possible Bronzed Cowbird?

Greetings,

I received a photo from a guy who wanted me to help out with an ID -- not unusual there (some uninformed people think I'm an expert or something -- that's a laugher).  The picture was a very interesting one of a stocky black bird with a thick bill that looks like it's twisted a bit so that the upper mandible has grown out unusually long which sometimes happens, I believe.  Anyway, I was thinking there was a possibility that this is a Bronzed Cowbird -- but it could be a Common Grackle at a weird angle and bad light or something like that (I think I might see a little yellow in the eye instead of red).  

Could you take a look at this and see what you think?
