Hello all,
I do agree that it has been great to have 2 very experienced Utah birders on the committee and there insight on voting records will be very difficult to replace. But I think having new blood in at times is also a good thing.
I don't think any of the new candidates ( not counting David ) have the years of experiences under there belts that Mark and Ron have but I do think that they are all very capable of serving the committee and voting competently on records.
I don't think we should change things at this point and just move forward. I also think it may help people to submit records with change on the committee at times so they don't think the same hierarchy may just shoot down their record.
And like others have said we certainly can invite Mark and Ron to serve again in a couple years.
