Hi Milt,
Thanks. If you're okay with your address on there, than it's certainly okay
with me. The Hooded Warbler is so diagnostic that we should turn that
CRNP capture into a record. I'll even provide you a description right now,
a small yellow bird, with olive back and wings, a strking black hood and a
huge black eye on a yellow face. It looks like everything else is in the
photo caption; Date, Location, Observer,.... let's make it a record and send
it out for review.
Oh yeah, that reminds me that there was also a Hooded Warbler captured
along the Santa Clara River and banded in the early to mid 90's. I suppose
if I wrote that one up, it would take care of the Hooded Warbler. I was also
surprised to find no records with photos or other physical evidence for
Least Flycatcher as well. I'm sure I have some photos from last fall with
Steve Summers or Jon Dunn, I suppose I should get on the ball and write one
of those up as well. Maybe some day I will catch up? but probably not.
Thanks again, and Merry Christmas.
Rick
