Greetings,

Most of you should have received the email from Dennis about his resignation (which I've included at the bottom of this  email) -- although it kept bouncing when  he sent it to the reccom listserv.  

He's ask me to conduct a nomination process for a new secretary position (since the webmaster makes up the voting form and all that).  So unless someone has an objection to that we can start the nomination process and then after a week or so we can have a vote.

According to the bylaws you're supposed to contact a person you're nominating to see if he or she is willing to serve.  Then please let the group know who you're nominating so we don't try to nominate the same person.

Hi Everyone,
I'm back from Japan and have been giving alot of
thought to the UBRC Secretary position.
I have decided it would be in the best interest of both the
Committee and myself to step down from the position.
With my traveling and other personal commitments I never
seem to be able to block up some time to get any of the
UBRC duties done.
In the next five months I'm going to be gone the better
part of four of them.
I feel bad I haven't completed some of the items we had
planned to do. Milt has been very patient and supportive,
like he always is.
 Hopefully you will be able to make the right fit and find
someone who can get the job done. You have my continued
support in your cause.
