[reccom] Hotline stats for Black Swift and Brown Thrasher

Hi Ron and everyone,

Eric Huish has been adding the Review Species sighting reported on the
hotline to a "Comprehensive List of Rare Bird Sightings" which also
contains sightings accepted by the records committee.  Here's a link to

Sightings for species which are NOT on the Review List are not included
on this list UNLESS they have been a review species in the past in
which case you could see some "older" sighting by click some "Archived
Records" links. (A lot of these records are courtesy of David Wheeler
who kept records of rare bird sightings and has contributed them to the
website records).

So for the Black Swift we have no collected website records, but for
Brown Thrasher we have some up to 2004.  Here's a link:

Actually some Black Swift sightings up to the year 2000 were in David's
original document (which was huge) and I could copy those and make
those available (with David's permission) to anyone who might be
interested. Ah, heck I'll just attach a document (WordPerfect format
which should open up okay in Word) with that section in it -- I'm
pretty sure that would be okay with David -- if not I could be in big
trouble!
