[Birdtalk] Flammulated Owls (memory triggered by Bryant's posting)

I remember going up Millcreek quite a number of years ago with Mark Stackhouse, Jeanne LeBer and Ray Smith, Ella Sorenson, and others, to see a Flammulated Owl. After we'd positioned ourselves in the dark on a trail, Mark called out just about every owl within the county. They were hooting it up all around us. And of course the most exciting look-see was of the beautiful little Flammulated that landed in a pine just above our heads and showed its shiny dark eyes to us. One of my favorite bird moments.
