I decided to head up to the mountains and one of my favorite spots, the
ethereal haunt of Lamb's Canyon. The birds were few and far between. It's
still winter-ish with snow on the ground in many places. The rushing water
and the aspens and conifers were a peaceful and welcome experience. The
birds I did see were quite striking in their fresh spring plumage.
