Birding in my yard for 20 minutes this evening yielded my first-of-year (and
first for the yard) DUSKY FLYCATCHER, plus a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW that
looked a bit out of place. Adult, with black on lores and extending to and
behind eye. Brief look, but it did not stay, and I could not discern bill
color. Thought maybe an eastern bird, but who knows....
Good birding, Craig.
