Well, I guess I won't go swimming there. Has anyone noticed anything in the
birds -- behavior, reproduction or appearance -- that might indicate
mercury poisoning? I'm disgusted and horrified by the way Utah has wasted
it's natural beauty. Certainly not in every place, but I'm seeing a lot of
city moving into the country in my neighborhood and it's just right in the
same lane a polluting the GSL. The loss of bird and wildlife habitat,
green-space, water and air quality etc. are all part of the larger problem
of how we continue to let things get out of balance. It seems we've had a
kind of business/ industrial free-for-all for a very long time. Now we've
got the worst air pollution in the country up here in Cache Valley & this
Mercury pollution in the GSL.. grrrrr!
